Have Unforgettable Occasions with Charm Bracelets
My own mother died from cancer when I was seven. I was able to vaguely remember her face, nor do I have any memory of the time we were with each other but one thing is crystal clear I will always remember her in my soul for the charm bracelets that she gifted me and my sister the day she relapsed and died at the hospital. These charm bracelets have helped my sister and I during many difficult times. We’ve relocated from five neighborhoods and have had new living arrangements like no tomorrow but braved it all understanding that we had our mother near us was what made it bearable. We never assumed we were helpless for those who have silver charm bracelet.
Seems like yesterday when I punched another person in the stomach during my grammar school days because she tried to scam for my charm bracelet. Her yucky name escapes me. She was the ultimate class mean girl and I was the new student, from Texas as part one of our fresh start moves. She noticed my bracelet and asked where I obtained it from. When I told her it was from my mom she laughed and said that the only reason she wanted to know was because it seemed so ugly.
I believed the day couldn’t get any worse but when lunch period came the girl attempted the most evil thing. She tried to sever the bracelet from my hand. She said she was grossed out the charms of my charm bracelet so I had to dispose of it, which was right when I decided that I got fed up and jabbed her in the nose, twice. Better late than never but after several parent teacher conferences my dad rose to my position and argued for my behalf. I know it’s never ok to hurt your peers but missing out on this girls charm bracelet ended up being something that I could never exist with out.
